Democracy First - You can make a difference!
You can make a difference by working with your Parish and Town Councils, either by becoming a Councillor or by just working closer together.
The Democracy First Project aims to encourage people to work closer with their Parish or Town Council, either by putting themselves forward to become a Councillor or by just giving their time to help with local initiatives.

More information about what Parish and Town Councils do and who can become a Councillor is available on this website. A DVD, developed with support from the LEADER programme is available FREE to anyone wanting to know more about working with their Parish Council.
